This is our first attempt to articulate an approach that recognises the diversity of our collective and is open to holding plural ways of practising design. It is based on the premise that, at Sonder, we don't believe in a single way of practising design.

Our design practice is shaped uniquely for each of our projects

Rather we embrace the unique identity, experience and expertise of our people, combined with the space and scope of work. Our design practice is shaped uniquely for each of our projects, in response to the challenge at hand and by the unique combination of the individuals in each project team.

Fundamental questions and reflections that inform our practice.

With these Design Practice Foundations we want to define what we at Sonder consider to be the fundamental questions and reflections that inform our practice, as well as the values and principles that guide us. With the Workbook we aim to start collaboratively building Sonder’s design approaches based on the real and current experiences of our members.
